Your first label: buy, print, pack, dispatch

    In short

Orders → select the order → check package, weight and service → Purchase label → print the Label → apply it → Schedule Pick-Up (DHL, Teleship), or drop at a Post Office or hand to Royal Mail (for Teleship Service only). No customs paperwork to print.

    1. Buy

    • Orders shows every international order that Teleship can ship. Open one. The app shows the parcel it will declare: items, values, HS codes, package, weight. Fix anything wrong before purchasing a label (this is your customs declaration).
    • Pick the service. The quote shows shipping, duty (at cost, no mark-up) and destination VAT/GST as separate lines; what your customer paid at checkout is shown next to it so you can see whether they covered it.
    • Purchase label. A hold for the amount is placed on your card (captured at the first carrier scan) or your top-up balance is debited. The Shopify order is marked fulfilled and the tracking number is written back to the order, which triggers Shopify's shipping-confirmation email to the customer.

    2. Print

    • One PDF per parcel: the label, plus an optional packing slip page (turn it on in Settings) listing product, variant and SKU for the packer.
    • Teleship DDP shipping service: the label is a Royal Mail label to our Heathrow hub. It carries the customer's name and a Teleship tracking ID (TS…), not the overseas address — that's applied by machine at the hub. The dispatch instructions on the left of the page tell you how to hand it over.
    • DHL service: the label is a DHL Express waybill addressed to your customer.
    • Commercial invoice: digital. It is generated automatically and transmitted to the carrier and customs electronically. You do not print or attach it. (Download it from the shipment if you want it for your records — The commercial invoice (digital, currency, what's on it).)
    • Use a 4×6"/A6 thermal label or an A4 laser print; the whole barcode must be flat and readable. If your parcel is too small for the label, ask support before folding it.

    3. Pack

    • Pack for an international journey: a box or padded mailer that survives 2-3 handovers, no loose items, no external branding required.
    • One label per parcel. If an order genuinely needs two boxes, buy two labels (split the order in the app) — never one label for two boxes.

    4. Dispatch

    • Post Office (Teleship services): hand it over at any counter, keep the receipt with the barcode. Cut-off for same-day departure to the hub is the Post Office's last collection.
    • Royal Mail collection: add it to your existing scheduled collection (no manifest needed for these parcels), or book a free collection from the link in the dispatch instructions.
    • DHL pickup (DHL services): booked when you buy the label; DHL collects at your dispatch address. You can change the pickup slot from the shipment page.
    • Enterprise / hub injection: deliver sorted parcels to the LHR hub on your own transport; no Royal Mail label needed.

What happens next: Royal Mail delivers to our hub overnight (ship before noon for next-day arrival at the hub); parcels are processed and depart the same or next weekday; tracking starts showing international events (How to track a parcel and what the events mean).
