How Teleship works — the two services and the journey of a parcel

Teleship DDP service (Teleship DDP Tracked / USPS Postal DDP Tracked)

• The label you print is a prepaid Royal Mail label addressed to our hub near London Heathrow — that is the UK address you see. It shows the customer's name but not their overseas address; that is normal.
• Drop the parcel at any Post Office or hand it to your regular Royal Mail collection, together with your domestic parcels (or schedule a pickup free of charge). Royal Mail delivers it to our hub overnight.
• At the hub every parcel is scanned, measured, weighed, X-rayed and automatically relabelled by machine with the destination carrier's label. Customs data was already sent electronically when you bought the label, so nothing is printed or attached by you.
• Parcels leave every weekday. EU parcels are trucked daily to our import hub in Belgium, cleared there, and injected into the national last-mile carrier of each of the 27 EU countries. US parcels fly to a US gateway, clear customs, and are handed to USPS or a regional last-mile carrier. Other markets (CA, AU, NZ, SG, HK, UAE, KSA) follow the same pattern with local partners.
• Teleship pays the duties and taxes at import and delivers DDP.

DHL service (DHL Express Worldwide / DHL Economy Select)

• The label is a DHL label addressed directly to your customer. There is no UK hub and no relabelling.
• DHL collects from your store or warehouse; the pickup is booked automatically when you buy the label.
• Express delivery in 2–5 business days to 200+ countries (Economy Select 3–6 days across Europe), tracked end to end, duties and taxes still collected at checkout and prepaid.

What both have in common: DDP only (we do not sell DDU), one tracking link generated with the label, no surcharges as long as your declared weights, dimensions, values and HS codes are accurate, and claims always go through Teleship — for DHL labels too.
