How to track a parcel and what the events mean
In short
Every Teleship shipment has a Teleship tracking ID starting with TS (e.g. TSGBUS…, 15 characters). Track it at teleship.com/tracking, in the app under Shipments, or from the Shopify order (the ID is written back as the tracking number). The page shows the whole journey and names the last-mile carrier and its local tracking number once the parcel is in the destination country.
Reading the events (Teleship service)
| Event you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Label created | You bought the label. Not yet handed over. If this is the only event after 2 days, the parcel hasn't been dispatched or its first Royal Mail scan was missed. |
| Collected / Accepted (Royal Mail) | Handed over in the UK. |
| Arrived at Teleship hub | The first-mile leg ended at our hub near Heathrow. |
| Processed / Relabelled / Departed hub | Measured, X-rayed, relabelled; on a truck to Belgium or a flight to the US/other markets. |
| Export / Import clearance, Customs released | In customs; released. |
| Arrived in destination country / Handed to last-mile carrier | The local carrier's tracking number now appears on the page. |
| Out for delivery → Delivered (last-mile carrier) | Delivery to the customer. |
| Return to sender | Undeliverable/refused/uncollected; coming back (Returns: costs, what is refunded, EU return labels). |
DHL service: DHL events end to end; the DHL waybill number is the tracking number.
Expect quiet periods: 2–5 business days with no scan while a parcel moves between hubs or sits in clearance is normal (see Tracking hasn't moved for days / held in customs for when to worry). An event's country reflects where the scan happened, and a new movement after delivery attempts may be the return leg — ask us if unclear.
