"Delivered" but the customer has nothing

    In short

Ask the customer to (1) check the mailbox, porch, parcel locker and safe places, (2) ask household members and neighbours, (3) for postal deliveries, visit the local post office with the tracking number — they often hold extra detail. If still missing after 24–48 h, contact us; we request proof of delivery and open a carrier investigation.

    • Proof of delivery varies: a signature (signed services only), a photo, or a GPS point; not every carrier provides one and some can't share it. Absence of proof doesn't establish loss; a Delivered scan doesn't settle a dispute either — the investigation does.
    • Theft after delivery is not the carrier's liability; the customer should file a police report and you decide on a goodwill reshipment.
    • Empty or opened box (e.g. USPS "received without contents") is a missing-contents claim, not a disputed delivery — tell us immediately with photos (What Teleship covers: lost, damaged, missing contents, misdelivery).
    • If the carrier confirms misdelivery or can't evidence delivery, we treat it as lost and open the claim (How to file a claim).
