Who can use Teleship — eligibility and what to have ready

    In short

UK-based businesses shipping from Great Britain to consumers abroad. Have your EORI number ready; setup takes about 20 minutes if the information below is to hand (allow 30 with a guided call).

    You can use Teleship if:

    • Your company is UK-registered and dispatches from Great Britain. EU- or US-based stores are not onboarded today (DDP delivery to the EU/US is of course supported).
    • You sell B2C — parcels to private individuals. Wholesale, orders to retailers, and other B2B shipments are not supported, including under DDP.
    • Your products are not on the prohibited list (see Prohibited items) and each parcel fits the service limits (see Value, size, and weight limits by service).

Have these ready before you install the app:

    1. EORI number (starts with GB). Mandatory to export. If you don't have one, apply free at gov.uk/eori — it usually arrives within a few days. Do not derive one from your VAT number; the sign-up validates it.
    2. Company registration number (Companies House).
    3. UK VAT number — optional.
    4. EU IOSS number — optional. If you don't have one, Teleship declares EU orders under its own IOSS (see IOSS and Merchant of Record for EU orders).
    5. A card for billing (credit or debit; Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Stripe).
    6. The empty weight of the boxes/mailers you ship in (see Packaging configuration and how billable weight works).
    7. Product data: weights, HS codes, countries of origin (see Product data: HS codes, country of origin, weights, dimensions). You can add these after install, but you can't buy a label until they are there.

Volumes: no minimum. You get on-demand pricing from your first parcel. If you ship 100+ international parcels a day or already ship pallets, ask hello@teleship.com about hub injection and contract rates.
