My tracking says the shipment was 'terminated' — what does that mean?

    In short

'Terminated' means Teleship has finished investigating the parcel with the carrier and has classified it as lost in transit, so it will not be delivered. The store you bought from is compensated by Teleship and is the one to contact for a refund or a replacement.

When a parcel stops moving, Teleship opens an investigation with the delivery partner (you may have seen "This parcel isn't progressing" on the tracking page). If the carrier cannot locate the parcel after that investigation, the shipment is closed and the tracking shows it as terminated. The parcel will not be delivered under that tracking number.

    What happens next

    • Teleship informs the store, compensates them, and invites them to make a claim. You don't need to do anything with Teleship.
    • Contact the store you ordered from for a refund or a replacement — they hold your order and payment details, and Teleship cannot refund or reship on their behalf. Quote the TS tracking number and your order number.
    • If the store sends a replacement, it travels under a new TS tracking number.

If a parcel marked as terminated does turn up, tell the store or email cs@teleship.com with the TS number so the records can be corrected.
