Ship to the US from the UK. Duties paid before it lands.

Since the US ended its $800 duty-free threshold, every parcel pays duty. Teleship works it out in your checkout, pays it with the label and delivers to your customer's door with nothing to pay.

From the UK. No platform fees: you pay for shipping only.

    US shipping for UK stores

Every US parcel pays duty now. Your customer shouldn't pay it at the door.

The US de minimis ended in August 2025, so there is no duty-free threshold any more. Duty stacks up: the standard rate for the product's 10-digit HTS code, plus Section 301 by country of origin (10% for most UK-made goods since 24 July 2026), plus Section 232 where steel or aluminium content applies.

Teleship calculates the full stack per product at checkout, collects it with the order and pays it at import. Want the numbers for your products first? Use the free US import duty calculator.

    Full duty stack at checkout

Worked out from each product's US HTS code and country of origin, so the price your customer pays is final.

    Commercial clearance

Teleship DDP Tracked clears as a commercial shipment and is delivered by USPS or regional carriers, tracked to the door.

    Express on the same account

DHL Express for urgent or high-value orders, on the same duty-paid label and the same invoice.

    No US registrations

No US importer account or customs broker to set up. Teleship clears and pays the duty for every parcel.

    How it works

From your checkout to a US doorstep.

    1. Step 1

      Connect your store

Shopify, WooCommerce, ShipStation, Metapack or the API. Integrations.

    2. Step 2

      Add US HTS codes

Set a 10-digit US HTS code and country of origin per product. The app sets them in bulk.

    3. Step 3

      Customer pays duty at checkout

The duty is part of the shipping price your customer sees, with no bill at the door.

    4. Step 4

Buy the label, drop it off

Buy a duty-paid label from the order, then use a Post Office or a Royal Mail collection.

Before you ship to the US

    Three things worth knowing.

    Use 10-digit US codes

Six-digit or UK codes aren't enough for US duty. Without a valid 10-digit HTS code the duty can't be calculated, so the order won't price.

Country of origin sets the rate

Section 301 depends on where the goods were made, not where you ship from. UK-made and China-made versions of the same product pay different duty.

    Sales tax is separate

US state sales tax isn't import duty. It becomes yours to handle once you pass a state's economic-nexus threshold, and most UK stores aren't subject to it. Teleship collects and pays import duties only.

    Restricted goods

Some products need permits, such as FDA-controlled tableware. Restricted items.
